Findings from Questionnaires

Feedback from our questionnaire from asking the question 'what are your initial comments on our ideas?' was mainly positive with some people saying 'video will be fun, interesting to watch, very good ideas and entertaining'. From this we know as a group that our video will be interesting for our target audience of late teens and early 20s. Therefore we know our ideas for our video will be suited to our audience and we had the right ideas as our audience agreed with us.
When we asked the question ' what would you expect an electro pop/ alternative dance music video to include?' the feedback we got was 'clubbing, urban scene, partying, and wild behavior.' We felt as a group that these ideas were appropriate for our music video and we definitely wanted to include an urban scene as grime characteristics include urban scenes. It was reassuring to know that our ideas matched with the audiences expectation of the music video.
The majority of our classmates said that they would usually watch this type of music this shows us that the music genre is popular in our target audience making more pressure for us as a group to create a good video as its a popular genre.
When asking 'would you want to watch our music video if it came on a music video' eight out of nine people said yes. This confirmed to us that our music video would be popular and would suit our target audience as the main aim is to get our target audience to watch and enjoy our video.
Our final question asked 'do you think our video will be successful?' all nine people answered saying yes. This shows that we have good ideas and will come across in the video well and it makes sense to our target audience.
